Stefan Winners founded Winners & Co. GmbH in 2011.

Entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience of successfully developing leading technology, digital and Green Tech companies.

During his 15 years as CEO of Burda Digital SE and TOMORROW FOCUS AG, he has actively built, invested into, bought or further developed digital companies like Cyberport, Elitepartner, Focus.de, Jameda, HolidayCheck, XING and others. With a proven record in delivering a clear strategy and operational road map for these companies. They often are still leading consumer brands today in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Stefan has actively driven towards the success of multiple businesses by holding the chairman position at DoDo Group (Prague), The European Healthcare Acquisition and Growth Company (Amsterdam), HolidayCheck and New Work/XING (both Germany), as well as supporting companies from a board perspective like Cepres (Germany), Cyndx (US), Giesecke & Devrient and zooplus (both Germany) among others.

Executed buy and sale side transactions totaling more than €4B in transaction value. As CEO and Chairman he has led several capital raisings and IPOs at the Frankfurt and Amsterdam stock exchanges; also advised companies on related subjects in the US. Stefan was CEO of the Lakestar SPAC 1 IPO, the first of its kind technology SPAC in Europe. The company raised €275m to acquire HomeToGo valued at €1,2B in September 2021. Currently, he serves as Chairman at the Board of Directors of European Healthcare Acquisition and Growth Company, that raised €200m and is listed at the Euronext in Amsterdam.

During his last 20 years he has developed several companies successfully even in difficult times and against strong global competition.

Stefan holds a masters degree in Business Administation from the University of Passau, Germany. Additional trainings include the Harvard Business School´s Advanced Management Program (AMP) as well as the Board Governance Program ´Making Corporate Boards More Effective.´

Stefan Winners served as a participant member of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, for six years. He resides in Munich.
